Is there lots of paperwork?
No. Once you have decided you would like to offer iLease to your employees, We will add you to our partnering organisation register and work with you to create the right marketing collateral to communicate iLease to your employees. They will then simply need to register themselves on our iLease website and will receive their login to our unique quoting platform.
How many car manufacturers does iLease work with?
iLease work with 26 different car manufacturers: Audi, BMW, Citroen, DS, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Land Rover, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Nissan, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, SEAT, Skoda, Smart, Suzuki, Tesla, Toyota, Vauxhall, Volkswagen and Volvo.
Do our employees have to have a big deposit?
No. iLease is unique in that you can choose to make no deposit. However, if an employee would like to reduce their monthly payments they can choose to pay an initial larger payment of 3, 6 or 9 months of the monthly payment.
Is iLease suitable for employees doing high mileage?
iLease personal contract hire agreements are available from 6,000 to 30,000 miles per annum on our quoting platform. However, if you have an employee doing over 30,000 miles per annum, we can provide manual quotes for them. We would also recommend drivers of high mileage to seriously consider taking the maintenance option with their agreement.
Can we offer iLease to employees who receive a cash allowance for a car?
Yes, iLease is an appropriate benefit to give those also receiving a cash allowance for a car.
Can we offer iLease to employees who already get a company car?
Yes, iLease is still an appropriate benefit to offer those who receive a company car as they can take a second car for a spouse or family member.
Should we be charging our employees for the iLease benefit?
No. iLease would not recommend charging employees for this benefit.
How do employees find out about special offers from iLease?
When employees sign up on the iLease website they will automatically be added to our subscription list to receive special offers via email.
Do we have to create marketing collateral for our employees?
No. iLease will work with you to create the right marketing collateral for your business. However, if you would prefer to create your own we do ask that we approve the use of our logo and information before being publicised.
Will iLease help us with our duty of care responsibilities?
Yes, iLease assists with your duty of care responsibilities for drivers travelling on business mileage ensuring their vehicles are fit for purpose.
How does iLease benefit our employees from a financial point of view?
iLease use their buying power to achieve high levels of discount with the car manufacturers, and then pass this on to your employees through reduced monthly rentals. In some cases, your employees will benefit by achieving 45% discount from selected manufacturers.
What discount is on offer from iLease for vehicles?
iLease can achieve up to 45% discounts from selected manufacturers.
How do our employees search for a car?
Once your employee has registered on our iLease website they will be provided with a password and link to access our quoting platform. Once logged in they will be able to search for a vehicle in a variety of ways including: by manufacturer, by model, by CO2 emissions, by monthly budget, by miles per annum, by initial deposit.
Is iLease and the discounts available to the general public?
No. iLease is only offered to employees of our partner organisations. You will not see iLease offers advertised to the public.
What finance options are available to our employees?
iLease offers Personal Contract Hire as the finance option to your employees. As the name suggests Personal Contract Hire (also known as personal leasing) is simply contract hire but for individuals.
Personal Contract Hire is based on a fixed term contract where your employees pay an agreed monthly charge for the use of a vehicle for an agreed period.
Will interest rates affect the monthly payments for a vehicle for our employees?
No. The static monthly payments are fixed at the beginning of the contract and will thus be unaffected by interest rates.
How long do our employees have to agree to the lease?
iLease is available on 2 year, 3 year, 4 year and 5 year agreements.
Do you offer a UK call centre for queries?
Yes. Our friendly knowledgeable team are here to assist you the employer and your employees.
Will you charge our employees any fees for the vehicle?
No. There are no document fees, no delivery charges and no hidden costs. Your employees simply pay the monthly rental for their vehicle..
Will they have to pick their vehicle up from iLease?
No, iLease want to make receiving a new car as convenient as possible for your employees. iLease will arrange free delivery of their new car to their home, place of work or wherever is convenient to them.
What happens if an employee leaves our organisation who has taken a vehicle on iLease?
As the Agreement is in the employee’s name, the monthly payment will continue to be paid by the employee until the end of the Agreement. They will not be eligible to order a replacement car though, unless their new employer is part of the iLease scheme.
